WINDOW TINT

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

 EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!

DRYING TIME

Your window tint will begin curing as soon as it’s installed. Full curing can take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks, depending on sunlight and temperature. During this time, you may notice a light haze, streaks, or small water bubbles — this is completely normal and part of the drying process. The trapped moisture will gradually evaporate as the film bonds to the glass.

Pro Tip: Keep your windows rolled up for 3–5 days after installation to prevent edges from lifting.

CLEANING

Once cured, maintain your tint using a soft microfiber towel and ammonia-free cleaner only. Avoid products that contain harsh chemicals or abrasives, as these can dull or discolor the film over time. Clean gently — especially along the edges — and skip automatic car washes with high-pressure sprays.

For best results, use a tint-safe spray cleaner and wipe in straight lines rather than circles to reduce static and streaking.

IMPERFECTIONS

Small dust particles or minor visual inconsistencies may appear after installation. These are part of the natural tinting process and do not affect durability or performance. Every film we apply is precision-cut and professionally fitted to your vehicle — but perfection in a real-world environment means balancing performance and craftsmanship.

COLD WEATHER CARE

In colder conditions, avoid rolling windows down until your vehicle is completely defrosted. Doing so too soon can cause the tint to lift along the bottom edge. When possible, park in a sunny area to help speed up curing.

BLACK DOTTED EDGES

Some vehicles feature black ceramic “frit” dots along window edges, especially on the rear glass. These areas may appear slightly uneven or hazy once tinted — this is normal and purely cosmetic.

SEAT BELT CHIPS

Be cautious when releasing seat belts. The buckle can strike the glass and chip the tint film. Gently guide seat belts back to their clips to prevent marks.

SCRATCHES IN GLASS

Over time, dirt buildup inside window seals can cause fine vertical scratches as windows move up and down. These scratches exist in the glass itself, not the tint film, and are simply more visible once tinted.
